Daylight saving - a time for clocks to be sprung forward. While the first week of 'summer' was fantastic - we have been returned to the winter weather patterns.  It is a good time for business owners to review how they are going and to plan for the next six months.

Have you collated your files and submitted them to us for annual account  preparation?

This email is a gentle reminder for those of our clients who are needing to submit material for annual accounts. The sooner you can send the materials to us the quicker the accounts can be completed.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

For many of you the end of September represents the midpoint of your financial  year and you should be thinking about how your business is going.

Budgeting and Forecasting is essentially a process by which you collate your predications about the income your business  will earn and the costs you will incur in earning that income.

To use your budgets effectively, you will need to review and revise them frequently.

Changes to online tax returns

In September last year the IRD introduced the eGST filing service. Now the decision has been made to remove the ability for the public to access the standard online form, meaning that customers will need to change their filing methods. The IRD has sent a letter to all it clients notifying them of the change to their filing methods.

For more information, on how to register to file your return through MyIR, please phone us at Craig Periam Limited.
